Registering for the Challenge
All eligible teams will receive an email with a link and code to get started with their registration. In order to be officially registered, each team must complete all of the tasks in the registration task list by the deadline in order to participate in this year’s competition All registration tasks and fees must be collected by April 16, 2025.
• ROV Registration Fee: $350 (USD)
• Individual Student Fee: $75 (USD) x per registered student *Limit of 12 Students
• Individual Chaperone Fee: $75 (USD) x per registered chaperone *Requirement of 2 Chaperones / Limit of 4 Chaperones
* Individual Fee includes t-shirt, Saturday lunch, and access to entire event on-site.

UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND DORM HOUSING
(Booking Deadline: May 1, 2025)
The University of Maryland will be offering dorm housing with meals during the 2025 Challenge. The dorm booking link can be found in your team registration portal.
• Package A: May 30-June 2 – Single: $360 / Double: $680
• Package B: May 30-June 1 – Single: $244 / Double: $460

Parking at the Challenge
- Free Event Parking available only on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1.

- LARGE VEHICLES
- The Terrapin Trail Garage has a height restriction of 7 feet. Anyone with taller vehicles or parking a bus must contact Cheri Koch at events@robonation.org.

- DORM RESIDENT PARKING
- Dorm residents will receive a parking pass for Lot 2 during their stay at the university.

- Parking in any other areas will result in large fines and/or vehicle towing at the driver’s expense. RoboNation assumes no responsibility for parking tickets and/or towing.

- UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND: REC WELL
- Take advantage of the recreation and wellness activities at UMD through your weekend.
- • Day Pass – 1 adult may self-sponsor for a day pass and then sponsor 2 guests/minors per day at the rate of $10 per day per person.
- • Duration Pass – For durations +3 days in length, please submit the special access request form and the Member Service team will be in touch with a rate.
Please Note:
- • All participants (regardless of age) must purchase access into the facilities. Even if the adult is only watching the children swim, the adult still needs to purchase a day pass to access our facilities.
- • Participants will have access to both the Eppley Recreation Center, Regents Drive Studios, and Ritchie Coliseum and must show their day/membership pass along with photo ID to enter the facility.
- • All participants age 16 and older must present a photo ID.
- • Participants under 18 years old are not permitted in the following areas: weight rooms, fitness rooms, Functional Training Studios, saunas, or group fitness classes.
How to Purchase: To purchase a day or duration pass, participants should visit the Member Services Desk at the Eppley Recreation Center (ERC) with a physical photo ID and form of payment (we do not accept cash).

Outdoor Pool Hours
• Monday-Friday: 10am – 6pm
• Saturday-Sunday: 10am – 6pm

Registration Cancellation Policy
To cancel a registration for the 2025 International SeaPerch Challenge, teams must visit the SeaPerch Cancellation Policy page and complete the Cancellation Form. Cancellation requests not submitted using this form will not be accepted. All competition fees are nonrefundable.
